Cat chasing ghosts?

Perhaps your cat is seeing astral beings. I am not sure how metaphysical you are but cats do spend a lot of time on the astral plane. — The station that has cats meowing for more. I call it the "whooshies" or just frenzy. It’s normal cat behavior. I think they’re just expending excess energy in the kind of movements they’d make if they were playing with another cat. Ever thought of having two? ;-) It’s more than twice as much fun to watch two cats together. Maybe you should consider yourself lucky that your cat has an exercise routine to burn off the energy… and you should even hope that it will go on for at least the next 2 or 3 years… Some cats just EAT to kill off the boredom, and become really fat. Ever seen a fat cat? Not pretty. Elaine

It’s the "kitty crazies", and it’s normal. But it’s waking you up, isn’t it? That’s the real problem, I suspect. Cats get active an hour or two before their first meal of the day. So if you’re feeding her as soon as you wake up, slowly move the feeding time back so that you’re feeding her later than you do now. That should help move the kitty crazies up to a saner time, too. Daria Timing is everything.
